MaxMarcus provided technical production for the WSL Football Awards, providing sound, lighting and communications across both the awards ceremony and afterparty.
The production was designed to support the formal presentation element of the evening before transitioning into the afterparty, with one technical team managing the event throughout.
The Brief
The event required a flexible production setup capable of supporting two distinct parts of the evening.
For the awards ceremony, clear and reliable sound was required for presentations and speeches, alongside lighting that supported the stage content and wider room design.
As the event moved into the afterparty, the production needed to shift in tone while maintaining the same level of technical control and visual consistency.
Our Approach
We supplied and managed sound and lighting for both the awards ceremony and afterparty, with our technical crew overseeing the production throughout the event.
Lighting was used across the stage and wider venue to support the event design and create a consistent visual environment.
A custom WSL gobo extended the branding into the arrival area, while a branded LED DJ booth carried the event identity into the afterparty.
Behind the scenes, 16 channels of communications were used across the production team to coordinate cues, transitions and technical requirements throughout the event.
