Max is a talented and hugely accomplished DJ, producer, sound engineer and tour manger, with over 20 years experience playing at nightclubs, festivals, corporate and private functions. He has an expansive musical knowledge, from the latest dance floor hits to classic party anthems. From humble beginnings as a 16 year old, providing his services at private parties, he gained his first mainstream club residency in London aged just 17. Max’s professional DJ career blossomed following his win at the UK Asian DJ Mixing Championships which provided him with the springboard to forge his career as a mainstream club DJ in the UK and across Europe.
His passion for house music led to him gracing the turntables at clubs and warehouse parties up and down the UK. His Dj sets caught the attention of promoters in the US, and led to an 18-month stay in California where Max began his production career under the wing of West Coast dance music producers DJ EFX and Digit.
Since then Max has gone on to write tracks for the legendary house labels Strictly Rhythm, Freshly Squeezed, Defected and Boy George’s More Protein imprint, as well as his own Sic Sense record label.
Throughout the late 2000s Max further expanded his work with live sound, as tour manager and sound engineer for acts such as Taio Cruz, The Dirty Pretty Things, The Libertines and most recently, Polydor Record’s latest signing, Hudson Taylor.
Max continues to spread his sound and his ability to entertain a crowd through music internationally, wherever he plays he is never happier than when getting a crowd dancing and providing them with exactly what they want to hear.
